Solving The Wrong Problems

You took your car to a mechanic, who flushed your radiator and changed a couple of fuses even though the diagnosed problem was an oil leak.  Yea, you guessed it, he solved the wrong problem.  How many times have you tried to solve a problem in your spouse that was actually in you?  How many times have you thought about switching careers, when the problem isn’t your career, it’s you?  How many times have you changed churches this year, when the problem isn’t the church, it’s you?  Many of us are ridden with the same plight of our shade tree mechanic.  Solving the wrong problems.
