About E.J. Kemper III

Ellis James Kemper III was born in Fort Polk, La to Ellis and Clementine Kemper October 19th, 1979.  At an early age he discovered his talent for writing and speaking.  After high school he joined the United States Army, where he served his country for five years.  Upon the conclusion of his duty in the military E.J. felt the compelling of the Spirit of God into the ministry.  He accepted his call at the First Community Baptist Church in Lake Charles, La, under the pastorship of Rev. Alvin Jefferson (where he currently serves as youth pastor).  There he was licensed and ordained.  In January of 2006 he published his first book with Publish America entitled The Novel of Poetry.  In August of the same year E.J. Kemper graduated from G.M.O.R. Theological Institute in Houston, Texas, with a Bachelor of Theology in Religious Education.

Rev. Kemper founded his ministry with the intent of ministering to the specific needs of individuals.  With ministering to the whole man, (spiritual, physical and mental) as his call he trumpets “Empowering Your Life” as his mission statement.  Through this ministry E.J. Kemper III is an evangelist, author, columnist and Christian promoter.  In February 2008, E.J. Kemper III published his second title- The Proper Purpose of Pain.  In June 2009, he began writing a monthly column for the Christian Star News Magazine.  In April of 2010, E.J. Kemper released his third title- No More Baggage.

E.J. Kemper III is married to Orelia Marie Kemper.  To this union God has given two children, Ellis James Kemper IV and Eyana Janae Kemper.
